Excavator Thumbs are built to machine specifications to suit the bucket width and number of teeth in order to mesh properly with the bucket’s cutting edge.
All thumbs require a fully filled out spec sheet to be manufactured. This is to ensure a tight fitment on the bucket and also to ensure that the thumb meshes properly with the bucket.

The most common hydraulic thumb setup that mounts through the main pain of the machine’s stick & bucket (or quick coupler). The main pin replaces the main bucket pin and only requires welding of the hydraulic cylinder base plate to the machine.
Stick mounted thumbs have a similar style to the above pin mounted thumbs, however they are completely fixed to the excavator stick. The thumb itself is longer in order to still reach the bucket cutting edge.
Progressive link thumbs are designed to offer more rotation than a standard hydraulic thumb. By adding another link, a progressive link thumb can rotate a full 180 degrees. Can also be folded up for tighter storage than a standard thumb.
All Solesbee’s products come with a standard 2 year warranty! For additional information – visit their website here!
